The Orinoco Belt
The Orinoco Belt is one of the largest hydrocarbon provinces in the world, requiring scale, technical expertise, and disciplined execution to unlock its full potential.
WESCA is leading the development of a Tier-1 greenfield asset within this region, focused on large-scale drilling and systematic field development. The project is designed to unlock heavy crude resources through an intensive horizontal drilling program, supported by the buildout of critical infrastructure and integrated field operations.
As a fully integrated operator, WESCA manages the entire value chain—from exploration and asset development to drilling, midstream infrastructure, transportation, and the commercialization of production with international customers. This end-to-end control ensures efficient execution, operational continuity, and long-term value creation.
Maracaibo Basin
The Maracaibo Basin is one of Venezuela’s most established oil-producing regions.
WESCA operated two fields, reaching a combined peak production of over 40,000 BOPD through disciplined execution. After five years of operations, the company successfully exited, demonstrating full-cycle value creation.
